The wind was bitter and cold, whipping through the dormant forest, cracking branches and blowing snow around the already whitened landscape. There was no signs of life, the smart creatures were sleeping in premade dens, anticipating the freeze. The eerie silance was broken suddenly, by footsteps cracking the soft layer of ice on the snow, quick and fleeting, white puffs of smoke escaping the half parted lips. The runner was a young female, the silance broken more by the sounds of dogs barking, giving chase to her, she had been running for some time and was growing weak. The icy air was getting in and stabbing her throat, drying it out quickly but she couldn't think of that, or the numbing of her limbs she just had to get away from the group chasing her.
She stumbled, and continued running shaking, she glanced back over her shoulder before tripping over a hidden log. She collapsed, breathing hard, there was no reasoning with her frozen body. She could hear the dogs getting closer, she bit her lip and dragged her body away, only getting a few more meters away before giving out completely. She laid there in the snow, waiting for death or worse the people chasing her to find her, but neither did. She looked up at the moon with ocean colored eyes, not able to catch her breath for a long time, she tried her body again but couldn't feel it, she felt her eyes getting heavier before finally passing out. Wondering what fate held for her now and if it meant she'd lose a limb or her life.

A.N-So before we get into this, its going to be a JazzXBill fiction. With possibly some TomXKarako going on, though this might be NON Wolfnas...I'm thinking of taking away the phasing we'll see. Anyway we'll see. This is only the beginning "Prolog" if you will...Just got a name idea lol
